SPECTRA handled all aspects of the arrangements for 600 top bankers and their partners when visiting from London from the United States in May - ranging from their airport arrival and departures, transportation & staffing, a significant amount of VIP arrangements, lunches and dinners, to co-ordinating tuxedo rentals for an elaborate and extremely special gala dinner.
Amongst a varied programme of daytime activities, there were private visits to Kensington Palace , Christie's and the V&A; breakfasts in the Georgian Restaurant at Harrods , the Tower of London , Kensington Palace Orangery and Wimbledon Museum prior to public opening or for some, power walking in nearby Hyde Park; VIP lunches and dinners at some of London's top & highly acclaimed restaurants, including Chef's Tables at Maze , Petrus and Claridge's; Guests were given a chance to explore London at their own pace in the luxury of their own vehicle; and for some the opportunity to visit behind the scenes of some of London's leading landmarks; including a tour of one of London's leading markets escorted by one of London's leading Chefs. The London Eye was chartered for champagne & canapés for a chance followed by a dinner cruise on board the Silver Sturgeon and Silver Barracuda waiting as they disembarked at the pier below for a chance to see London from another perspective.
SPECTRA orchestrated the welcome event in the Great Room of the Grosvenor House , as well as a spectacular Gala Event at the Royal Albert Hall , with special effect lighting & colour washes, specially-selected elaborate furniture, linen, glassware and crockery design; 18-piece orchestra, and a much enjoyed performance by the free-spirited Sheryl Crow, who was flown in from USA for the night. |
